 I wonder if she'll wear gloves on her wedding day? Many brides do, especially in the South.

I hope she does!  Gloves add a touch of formality to an occasion and weddings are one of a girl's few opportunities to really "dress it up"

 

I think that our culture has gotten too casual. People just don't dress up for events the way they used too. I've especially noticed this sad fact at church, weddings and funerals. 

I sometimes wish we could return to the days when ladies wore hats and gloves.
