Are you in search of "something old" to wear or carry on your wedding day? How about a lovely pair of beaded vintage gloves?
Or, a pair of milk glass earrings?
Many brides incorporate vintage jewelry into hair pieces like this lovely comb which was up-cycled from a vintage brooch:
I have even seen bridal bouquets created from vintage brooches!
How special is that?
Last, but not least - you could carry a beautiful, beaded, vintage clutch.
Last year, I purchased a lovely sequin and beaded purse at a flea market. Both my youngest daughter, Kyla and her sweet friend, Felicia, fell in love with it. They each "reserved" it for their wedding day.
I have set it aside for you, Felicia - Hmm? something borrowed and something old at the same time! And will give it to Kyla at her bridal shower.
I love to collect pretty vintage things and offset the cost of this hobby by selling pretty vintage things on Etsy. My shop is called, Pink Rose Vintage and you can find some of the iems I post in my blog there.
I am delighted that many of my customers have been brides who purchase "something old" to wear or carry on their special day.
More about gloves in my next post:)
